Welcome to Locus Media. My name is Michael, and I am a videographer and editor based in Chester. I have a bachelor's in film studies and extensive experience in filming and editing for private clients. My mission is to be the Locus where your media is shot and edited to your ideal, a hub where passion makes art.

I started Locus Media with the goal and passion to make an audience feel emotions they were not expecting to. My first time watching a classical music video, took me by surprise. The videography was so impactful that it didn't need words to have a lasting imprint on me. This is the goal I'm chasing with Locus Media.

My goal isn't just to record your day. It is to create a film that makes you feel something real, something powerful, and maybe even something you weren't expecting.

I'm not here to just point a camera and press record. I'm here to create, to collaborate with you, direct moments so they feel natural, and find hidden beauty in the details. One of my favourite techniques in filming is using close-ups on the details everyone else misses.

So, what does that mean for you? It means you get a videographer who is genuinely invested, passionate and experienced. I believe trust is the most important part of this. You need to feel comfortable to be yourself, and that's how we get footage that's authentic. My favourite compliment is making someone feel strongly about a moment they almost forgot. That's my kind of magic.
